[free Loop to Scratch] M-rode - Try Again 88

  1. I volition endeavour to brand this both brief and clear.

I take AnyDVD and CloneDVD on a dying computer, windows 7.

These were purchased many, many, many years ago.
The banking company accounts and e-mail addresses I used at that time are LONG gone.

I would like to know PRECISELY in detailed steps, how to:

!. Find the license keys for both

two. Get them working on a NEW calculator, with Windows 10.

I'm not tech savvy, so desire to exist careful not to practise annihilation that would preclude this from working
    on my new motorcar.

It is REMOTELY possible someone on the SevenForum can help me get rid of the BSOD on the old machine, so I don't want to do any sort of harm to those copies.

I have no thought whether my license PERMITS me to motion the license to a new machine.

If you cull to answer, please speak equally if y'all were talking to a person who never
saw a reckoner before in his life.

    Thank yous.

  2. ane. The license keys were sent to y'all in an e-mail. Y'all may, or may not, have moved/stored those in a different location on your computer. No 1 but you has whatever style of knowing that.

    2. Just motility the keys to a location on the new calculator where yous know where they are. Download and install AnyDVD and CloneDVD. You can and so double-click the license keys to actuate, or go to: Start/Redfox/AnyDVD/Annals AnyDVD and scan to the location yous put the key(s). If y'all have an older Slysoft license, you would substitute Slysoft for Redfox. For CloneDVD : Start/Elaborate Bytes/CloneDVD2/Annals CloneDVD2.

    3. There is absolutely no issue in moving to a new computer, merely make sure you don't take both AnyDVD/CloneDVD actively beingness used at the same fourth dimension on both computers.

  3. You initially got your keys via email. Search your email business relationship(s) for bulletin(s) from either orders@slysoft.com or orders@redfox.bz. The CloneDVD key could be from either, depending on when yous ordered it. If the AnyDVD central is from the slysloft email, yous may desire to consider getting a new primal. The Slysoft issued keys won't work with newer versions of AnyDVD which means yous may take issues decrypting newer discs.

If you found the emails with the keys great. Y'all tin can skip to the next part. If you didn't find the keys, open the This PC (My Figurer) screen where it shows your C bulldoze and the other diverse drives available... In the upper right corner, below the minimize/maximize/close options, yous should see a search bar. Paste/blazon *.CloneDVD there to search your entire computer for the CloneDVD key (the * is a wildcard character that repersents whatever number of characters - this search volition return whatsoever file that ends in .CloneDVD). Change the search term to *.AnyDVD to go the AnyDVD primal. Once you've plant them, re-create them to something you'll be able to admission on your new computer (a USB Flash drive, external hard drive, your preferred cloud storage (Google Bulldoze, One Drive, Dropbox, etc), email them to yourself, etc).

If you can't find the email or the files on your computer, you'll take to make it bear on with Redfox and promise they can send yous the keys over again.

Once you have the keys, log into the new computer. Come here to the download page and get the install files for the electric current version of AnyDVD and CloneDVD. Install them on your computer (double click on the downloaded file & keep clicking OK/Next). Once the program is installed, you can double click on the respective license key file (after having downloaded it from the e-mail or retrieved it from the USB drive or however y'all brought it over from the old computer). Yous should be presented with a small-scale window request if you want to add data to your registry. All you need to practise is click Yes and that should be it for installing the license.

Once both have been installed (you lot tin can do so in either order) licensed y'all should reboot your estimator, for skilful measure. Once your support and logged in, y'all should exist good to go.

Just make sure you are not using AnyDVD and/or CloneDVD on both the new and old computers at the same time.

I promise that helps. If you need anything antiseptic or whatever allow me know ...

  4. These were purchased many, many, many years ago.
The bank accounts and email addresses I used at that fourth dimension are LONG gone.
What I demand to know is, in item, where within Windows 7 to look and observe the license.

  5. Thank you.
I followed your instructions as best I could.
The search did find things named "key" for AnyDVD and CloneDVD, but I really don't know what I am looking at.

I copied to a flash bulldoze, but you don't tell me EXACTLY WHERE on the new computer to put this "key" stuff.

    You wrote,
"Come here to the download page and go the install files for the current version of AnyDVD and CloneDVD."

There is Not whatsoever "download page" anywhere on this forum!
I had to go to Google and take a gauge, confusing.
downloaded something that put icons on the desktop.
When clicked on they say "This version is not licensed. Please install a valid license key. Request trial, Guild, Leave"

Bully. HOW?????? HOW exercise you "install a license key" ?
    No instructions given.

I strongly suspect yous are using a dissimilar version of Windows.
I am using Windows 10, and I DO NOT SEE the things you describe.

Yous write "double click on the downloaded file and go on clicking Ok/adjacent"

Offset of all, WHERE is the "download file"?

I right click on a desktop icon that says AnyDVD, and select properties.
This gives an obnoxiously complicated path to find the file.
I go there, and double click the listing AnyDVD as yous say to practice.

    You say, "keep clicking OK/adjacent"

THERE IS Not ANYTHING Fifty-fifty REMOTELY Like THAT ON THE SCREEN

  6. Your license cardinal file is best not kept on the aforementioned drive where you're installing whatever of these applications. While all you have to do is double them, I call up, to install your keys, it'southward not practiced practice to go along them exclusively on the bulldoze where you installed the program(south). If yous ever take to replace the drive, format it, or replace your PC, if the central is stored ONLY there, you'll lose it. It'southward all-time to go on it on a flash drive where you know where you can admission it in the time to come or exercise like I do. I have a Western Digital USB HDD with a division on it that stores all of my installer files. My AnyDVD key is kept in a folder on this sectionalization. That fashion I'll know where information technology is and I won't lose it. While I believe I also do have my fundamental file saved in the AnyDVD installation folder, it's but a copy of the file for ease of access.

As for the "download file," I'm guessing they're talking about the executable y'all downloaded to install the application. e.g. the installer. You would have had to take downloaded it somewhere locally on your end in order to run it.

  7. U don't take access to the one-time emails anymore at all? And by that I don't mean the bodily electronic mail account, but the emails themselves. Did yous connect the at present defunct account to Microsoft outlook? Because if you lot do, you could try to search inside outlook itself.

If that fails, effort to search for '*.AnyDVD' (or .AnyDVDHD depending on which version it was you had). The same applies to *.CloneDVD (don't search for key*)

If you bought Clonedvd from elaborate bytes (instead of slysoft) they might be able to resend your clonedvd key.

Unfortunately redfox can NOT assist you in key recovery for keys bought nether slysoft. They don't have access to the customer/key database.

Their might be a mode to dig through the registry merely I don't know the location. Mayhap @James or @Pete can assist in that matter.

They said, slysoft keys only piece of work upward to 7695, anydvd v8 and above REQUIRES a redfox cardinal.

As to installing the central itself if you lot manage to recover it, that's unproblematic.

    1. Install matching software
    2. Place key FILE on desktop (with an the icons)
    3. Double click the file
    four. Done

And topic moved to license section, the anydvd section is for disc troubleshooting. And please don't crosspost in multiple topics across multiple sections.

  8. I copied the files from the old computer to a USB drive, then copied them to the new estimator.
The files are all the same saved on the USB.

Double clicking on AnyDVD.exe results only in this mistake message, equally already stated:
"This version is not licensed. Delight install a valid license cardinal. Request trial, Order, Get out"

  9. No, i take never stored email anywhere, I have only accessed it via an account such as yahoo or gmail. I accept never used Outlook.
If y'all had read my posts, yous would know that I already did perform that search, and already did find "key" files.
I copied them to a flash bulldoze.

Equally you lot suggested, I placed them on the desktop.
CloneDVD appears at present to be launching correctly, but without AnyDVD, is worthless.

Strangely, there was but 1 "fundamental" file for CloneDVD on the old estimator, but MANY "cardinal" files with the AnyDVD proper name.
Clicking on each ane of these always brings up the same error message:
"This is not a valid license key"

  10. It'south not a valid license cardinal because equally I said, redfox issued anydvd requires a redfox license key. (Due to the forced shutdown of slysoft by the Antiguan authorities)

Your slysoft license only works upwardly to version 7695.

Y'all now have 2 options, install the old slysoft anydvd 7695, or purchase a redfox anydvd license. That's it.

  11. Ok, how would I "install the old slysoft anydvd 7695"?

This really is disruptive.....AnyDVD yet works PERFECTLY and Unremarkably on my old computer, the one that is dying from BSOD......simply information technology won't work on my Win10 calculator. Why?

Options? Y'all are Assuming that I have $120 The states dollars to spend ownership something I should already own. Ownership some other license isn't an choice. This really sort of stinks.

  12. Bank check the version that's installed on the former machine? Is it v8.0.0.0 or higher?

    7695 https://world wide web.videohelp.com/software/AnyDVD/old-versions

And I'm not assuming anything, I'm just proverb that if yous don't manage to get the central file, those are the only 2 options to get anydvd back into a (semi) working country (because many of the servers the slysoft anydvd relies on got shut downward along with slysoft)

Nobody liked the shutdown by the authorities, merely they're (MPAA/aacs LA) the i that took your and everyone else's license (including mine) with them.

  13. Follow Ch3vr0n'due south advice.

Boot upwards the onetime computer and bank check to see which version of AnyDVD is installed on it. You lot'll be able to see by moving the mouse over the fox icon down by the clock. If it is 7.half-dozen.9.5 (or lower) and then you probable still have a Slysoft license primal and never upgraded to a Redfox primal.

If this is the example, come back to the new figurer and uninstall AnyDVD. Follow the link provided by Ch3vr0n and download version 7.6.9.5 (or earlier, lucifer the version installed on the quondam PC) and install it on your new computer. Once that's done, try the AnyDVD license central. It should (hopefully) work.

If it does, then you can continue equally you were on your old computer. Merely know you won't ever exist able to upgrade AnyDVD past version seven.6.ix.5 unless you get a new license central. It sucks having to purchase something again like that, I know... But sometimes you just gotta bite the bullet... If you tin can't afford $120 you can e'er opt for a cheaper almanac license rather than a lifetime license. Or keep an heart on the site. I'm certain there volition probably be a auction going on in the very near hereafter for either Black Friday and/or the diverse end of the yr holidays. Don't forget the license keys are how Redfox makes their money and allows them to stay in business and constantly updating the AnyDVD app... They do a bang-up job, IMHO their difficult work is worth skipping going out one or two nights (stay home and watch a DVD instead).

If your one-time computer is running version 8.x.x.x you lot have to have a newer Redfox fundamental somewhere. The file you are trying either isn't the bodily central. If you had bought a Slysoft key earlier (similar I did) mayhap your trying to use it instead of the Redfox analogue. Bank check for a newer email (2017 or newer). If you lot can't find it, you should be able to make it affect with the customer service squad at Redfox and they should be able to help become you a new copy of your key.

If the old estimator has 7.6.9.v or lower installed and it doesn't register on the new reckoner, and so whatever you take isn't the actual license key. Check your emails and files again... Hopefully, you can find it, cause otherwise, your only real option will be to become a new key. Someone might exist able to let you know which bits of the registry from your sometime estimator you'd have to backup and import into your new reckoner to become AnyDVD registered... Simply backing up the registry would probably crave slightly above average computer skills... You may desire to get aid with that if it comes to that...
